Sunday - Resting

It's Sunday. After a morning where some went sightseeing and others to church we arrived at the Boca Marina Restaurant for a wonderful lunch. Sunday is a day of rest where we prepare for a week of service to the wonderful communities that surround Puerta Plata...which is on the Atlantic Coast (the North Coast) of the Dominican Republic.

And finally it was off in our trusty bus to Puerta Plata. It's a five hour bus ride from Santo Domingo but will be base for the next week. We will be staying at the Barcelo Resort which we all hope will be full of hot water and good food!
